Trader identity in the United Kingdom
Our position is that the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 apply to services offered to recipients in the United Kingdom, and that the provider details above carry most of the identity information regulation 6(1) requires. Our position on a United Kingdom representative under Article 27 UK GDPR, which no provider identification carries, is set out in the privacy notice.
How we quote and contract in the United Kingdom
Prices are not published: we quote individually in writing, and a quotation states whether it is inclusive of tax. No contract is concluded through this website. A contract is concluded in writing after a quotation, by individual communication, so the electronic-contracting duties in regulation 9 of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 — the technical steps, the filing of the order, the correction of input errors and the languages offered — do not apply to it.
United Kingdom VAT
We are not registered for United Kingdom VAT. Our position is that a registration duty would arise on the first United Kingdom supply for which the customer does not give us a United Kingdom VAT registration number, and this notice would be updated when that happens.
